only recently (abramovich years) have they become football rivals.....ergo jcl`s

my rivals are the ones that threaten to win things.
it was leeds when i 1st started going, liverpool and now man utd[still not willing to give chelsea or city credence]they ain,t done enough yet.
i am more than aware of our rivalry with spurs and find it mildly amusing.
i find us singing about them when we are not playing them annoying giving them publicity they have,nt earned

That almost sounds like Leeds have won more than City! When in reality they have won as much as WBA (as I'm sure you will know!)

I don't think some people realise that City are on of the most successful English clubs in regards of trophies. (again, not pointed at you as you will know!)

i went on perception when i was 7 yorky up until about 75 leeds were the team to beat/hate.
now i go on what i class as a footballing generation[say a giggs career]and in that respect city are a mid table side.
that may change over the coarse of a few years but it wont go on the back of 1 title.
now that don,t mean a hill of beans to you yorky and i don,t expect it to and it would,nt to me.
i,ve never moaned about chelsea,s money or yours i believe wenger talks of how he would like things to be rather than the way they are and its holding us back. and i have upmost respect for city and there fans both proper[though the goodwill has been tested with the aquisition of our players] and i always believe the most important season is the next. i was,nt digging at you mate if anything i was imploring arsenal fans not to go on other teams sites gloating.
it may be the man utd way but it is not ours.
high profile when we lose low profile when we win is the arsenal mantra.
celebrating among yourselves is a different matter

goes without saying if your a real gooner, because a real gooner would`nt want the yids to get anything. the chelsea thing is for the jcl`s

count me in as the new kid in town
don,t give a f**k about spurs
i want us to be the 1st london club to win the champs league

+1

Can't believe some Gooners prefer Chelski winning the CL over Spurs qualifying to playoffs next season..

No trophies for our rivals!!!

This is the way i see it.......

option 1,,chavs get beat, and the dirty yid scum get a crack at the champs league...possibly win it (you never know, stranger things have happened) and i did say possibly,,may be a 1% chance. And if that happens, how exactly would you feel??

option 2,,chavs win, dirty yid scum have no chance of winning champs league,,,100% not going to win it.

The lesser of 2 evils is option 2....yes?

No, I don't agree. It prevents Tottenham from winning it ( :rofll: :rofll: :rofll: :rofll: ), I mean it prevents Tottenham from competing in it (they'll never win it, ever) for just one season, but gives Chelsea champions league glory for eternity.
A far more likely scenario is chelsea winning it and being the first london club to do so, Ashley cole, lampard, terry et al. and then tottenham qualify for the champions league 12 months later. delaying tottenham 1 season of CL football in sacrifice of a life time of chelsea being the first london club to win the CL...no thanks.

I don't want the scum in the CL, but we've already got the last laugh over them by finishing above them, and if bayern beat chelsea we can laugh at them too.
f**k fourth spot, it means nothing, it's no achievement whatsoever.
I hate tottenham alot more than Chelsea. (before anyone says something about real arsenal).

I prefer option 3 Boxer.

Chelski lose, we laugh at them.
Totscum lose Modric and Bale in the summer, Adebayor goes elsewhere... they play shit in the CL and don't make it out of the group stage.

I don't buy the whole 'first London team to win the CL'.

It's like second best to being the first in England to win it or something. If Chelsea win it, will everyone go on about wanting to be the first in N.London instead? Or if somehow Spurs won it (LOL) would it be changed to 'We want to be the first London team to win it, when the game kicked off at 8:03 and shown on Channel X'.

I'm not saying support Chelsea or anything, just that the whole London thing seems a pointless thing to worry about!

Maybe it's a London thing with living there so I don't understand it so much being up here.
