Would you ever protest?

Postby gooney » Thu Feb 16, 2012 9:21 am

Every fan has their limits. What would it take for you to actually say enough is enough and protest? im not saying we should or shouldnt protest. just would like to now different peoples limit. Me personally i would only protest against the owner and board. I expect this seasons real slump will come and next few weeks will be very hard. By may when the season is over. if no one at the club comes out and explain to us what their plans is or we dont hear anything from Gazidis or Kroenke. That would be my limit as it would tell me they couldnt care less how the team is doing.

Like you I woud only want to protest against the board rather than the manager and players but, no CL place at the end of this season would be where I'll be crying for their heads. I think the fans feel the same as our top "player". We all want to know what direction the club is heading in. We appear to be going backwards and the board dont seem to make any noises to contradict the feeling.

I stay in a country far far away from protesting. Hypothetically i would never protest in an ongoing game cos the team needs all the support that is possible but any other means/anywhere else i might consider it.

End of the season if the last game means nothing then I would happily protest before, during and after the game.

"Wheeeeeere's the moooooooney gone?
Where's-the-mon-ey-gone?"

To the tune of "where's your mother gone".

I just don't believe Wenger's that deluded to believe that his little youth project is more imortant than the club. He's always been "shrewd in the market" with cheap buys and obscure talents, but no-one's more aware of our demise over the last 6 years than him, afterall, he's a number-cruncher and stat lover more than our very own statto!!! And, when needed, he's spent the £8-10m in the past (£10-12m in todays market?) but he won't do it these days unless there's a greater resale value.

It's the guys above Wenger that's pulling the string imo. And protesting isn't what I've got in mind... try black bandanas and duct tape!!!

I decided in 2008 that I wouldn't spend another penny on Arsenal until they showed some ambition & stopped milking the fans rather than doing just enough to keep the revenue streams ticking over................my stance remains unchanged, although after what I have seen this season, I suspect it will not be long before they have no choice to invest - we need to be in the Champions League when our commercial contracts come up for renewal!

The only way they'll notice or care is if people stop going to games and it effects their bank accounts personally.
WHAT IS GOING ON AT OUR CLUB?!?!?

this wont work because of the season ticket sales.and people who have waited for years on the season ticket list wont turn it down when given the chance
