Was watching SSN earlier this morning and David Dein was a guest and he said "I'm on the bench if Arsenal needs me".
I reckon he's itching to get back into the fold to support Wenger. If Usmanov gets a place on the Board Dein's re-emergence can't be far off, in my opinion.

(Yeah-yeah I know, he did try to sell the club to a Yank but, how ironic the same Board who sacked him ended up selling out to the same Quiet American...Anyb*llocks that's for another story. Slimy twunt that he is)

That's a good point Gza... there's also the fact that there are some who played a part in sacking Dein who are no longer on the board.

Maybe the rest of the board need to eat some humble pie.

Well as the rumour mill has been spinning... Usmanov is supposed to be making a HUGE move this Summer which includes seeing Dein back in the fold.

I thought he fired Dein from Red and White Holdings?

Would have thought that might have damaged their freindship somewhat.
