If it was their facebook and they only used it to talk to their friends, I'd agree. But they actively use Twitter to engage with fans. It's a good thing IMO.

Also it tells us things we might not have known otherwise, Afobe seems a really nice lad whereas JET a bit of a dick.

Suppose so.

who knows maybe Afobe is a dick but presents himself better and he's more conscious about his image compared to JET?

Erm... The whole point of the players (and other celebs alike) having Twitter is for us to do just that.

What is it you find creepy about the point of the medium which is used?

Celebrity worship freaks me out, but this si a mild form I suppose. We all have our celebrities, ours are the players.

I don't like the whole thing personally, and I'm not interested in it in anyway! Although I'd probably get on it if Bergkamp had one! ;)

... but that's reiligion, the dude's a spiritual figure, not a celeb!

I really hope you're not categorised me in the same area there. I'm not a "celeb" but, I've been a professional actor, screen writer and producer for many, many years.

I have people following me on Twitter and I follow fellow actors, writers, "celebs" etc myself. It works in circles.

Not at all, sorry for any misunderstanding! If your using it too keep int ouch with people in your profession and people discussing your acting thats fine but the whole 'whats your favorite cereal' shit is just bizarre really :)

What films have you been in?

Is Rosicky on Twitter? We need to tell him how bad his shooting accuracy is these days. He needs to practice more. He can only pass sideways.

Just seen JET's twitter account, he seems a right plonker. No wonder Wenger isn't giving him playing time with all that attitude.
