Flamini might stand around and do f**k all but it's still better then Arteta who is downright detrimental to the team because he constantly gives away freekicks. Having said that, I feel like they both compete with each other to see who is a more incompetent DM.

This, technical faults to stop a counterattack are not bad, its a resource that every single midfielder uses. He intercepted a lot of passes yesterday too.
The problem is that he is not a holding midfielder and never was. It shows when we are under attack. he is not good enough unfortunately.

Coq is a pro footballers and you're not. Also, as Bear said, if Arteta and Flamini can play at the highest level for Arsenal, Le Coq deserves a chance to show how awful he can be. You'll be surprised--not because Coq is good, but because Flamteta are woeful.

I would generally agree with you but its Villa, plus he missed a lot of passes today which is his supposed strength. Look what happened with Arteta (though he wasn't the only guilty one) against Dortmund.
