If he got a GK and a CB i would deem this summer hugely successful.

But i am wondering if he has his eye on Gallas out of the door? Surely if he leaves we need 2-3 signings?

I agree. A GK and a CB are musts, anything over that will be a bonus.

I really think that if we can keep Sol and sign another CB to partner TV, we should be ok, provided DJ is back to his full fitness.

Maybe.

Renewing Tweety's contract might not be a bad idea, to be on the safe side, he is not a bad backup CB.

I'd rather call back Nordtveit than keep Tweety. :tumbleweed:

Thought it was obvious?

They wanted a lot of money for a player in the final year of his contract, AW didn't want to stump up the cash...

Wenger saying - "We'll get another one or two signings thats for sure".

Promising signs.

He is coming back, his loan has ended, so we will probably have Bartley and Nordveit as backup, backup CBs

I love how Chamakher refers to the team like a fan... ie when asked about last season he was saying "we" finished third and how "we" were unlucky with injuries...

and you think there will be a new keeper? I think he will buy a CB if gallas leaves and a midfielder. because wenger loves midfielder. with midfielder I mean cover for Song.

It is nice hearing talk from a player who does sound like a fan (as previously mentioned). Im looking forward to seeing him play against milan when i go to the EC.

I was just on goal.com (don't hate me), Tony Cascarino said: "Chamakh is technically very good and is similar to Cristiano Ronaldo in his style, tricks and even his looks. However, he’s very much a poor man’s version as he’s nowhere near as good. In fact, he is like Ronaldo at his worst in terms of going to ground at every opportunity."

Verdict: Retard!
