Just looked the lad up on Youtube and wow does he look gay... on the first one and in the semis! [this post is not in offence to Ronan its just against Simon Cowell if he is indeed involved]

BGT Fixing

Postby Gooner Girl » Sat Jun 04, 2011 9:26 am

Does seem a bit odd that foreigners have a chance of winning BRITAINS got talent, I think the Romanian is a very good dancer though. Still can't believe the cyclist didn't get through, I thought he was fab.

The quality of talent has been poor this year, the judges deliberately put through some very bad acts to the semis, presumably for entertainment value? Bit gutted the Celtic colleens didn't get through yesterday. One of them used to go to the youth group mr gooner girl runs and I thought their act was good.

As for ronan parkes, simon was very quick to refute the article but it sounds quite genuine and I commented at the time to Mr GG that few 12 year olds boys would choose to wear the outfit, especially the scarf, that he wore in auditions. I presumed his mum 'styled' him but maybe there was something more sinister going on?

Who should win then? I can't decide!

Well of course he would refute the article, and if they were bought out by Cowell both Parkes and his parents would be quick off the mark as well!

Well he didn't win after all! (though loads that have come 2nd in these comps go on to do very well) Don't think the judges were impressed with the publics decision though :)

There is one thing I hate about BGT and that is singers on it! No surprise one won it. There is xfactor and all the others for that.

I prefer to see something entertaining, well I thought that was the point of the show! The only singer I really liked was the chap who sang nursery rhymes lol.

Totally agree with Trina. I thought the best act's were the non-singing. My faves were the guy on the bike and the impressionsit.
Also very weird that we don't get many comedians on there. Every bloke in Britain thinks he's funnier than everyone else.
And they used to do something like this in the 70's were the 2 most famous winners was Jim Davidson and Lenny Henry
