I'd love to see Song and Frimps protecting the back four but can't see Wenger doing it.
Szczesny
Fabianski
Sagna--Mertesacker--Koscielny--Gibbs
Jenkinson--Samba--K.Toure--Monreal
Fellaini--Wilshere
Ramsey--Arteta
Cazorla
Rosicky
Walcott---------------Podolski

Szczesny
Djourou Mertesacker Koschielny Vermaelen
Frimpong Song
Walcott Arteta Gervinho
Van Persie

think this would be a good side to run out.

I'd rather see Coquelin than 'Pong. However, if Nasri's playing then I want 'Pong! :P

13th of May 2012 Arsenal beat West Brom 3-2 to finish 3rd ahead of Newcastle. Gooney is still yet to leave the forum...

Have faith in Ramsey, he'll come good

That lineup isn't bad actually (I would probably choose coquelin, but I think either would work just as well). Also I believe City will be without yaya and clichy which is always a good thing
?
(Szczanski)
(Mannone)
Sagna Koscielny Vermaelen ?
(Jenkinson Mert ? Gibbs)
(Bellerin Djourou Miquel ?)
? Cazorla Wilshere
(Coquelin Rosicky Arteta)
(Frimpong Eisfeld Diamsey)
? ? Podolski
(Walcott Giroud Gervinho)
(Gnablade ? Ryo)

We could actually go even more defensive than that:

Frimpong
Song----Arteta----Ramsey
Van Persie Gervinho
Fabianski
Sagna Koschielny Mertesacker Gibbs
Ramsey Arteta
Walcott Wilshere Cazorla
Podolski

I remember last season's game when City shat theirselves around the 30th minut and switched to a 4-5-1 formation till the ref blew his final whistle.
Ofcoure that won't happen tomorrow, but i'm quite optimistic despite the fact that we could easily lose 4-1.

We are actually quite solid at the moment, something that is making me think that we could nick this by a thin margIn. I don't think Mancini will sit back and play for a point like he did last season, i recon he'll feel obliged to go for it at home.

If we can hold out for the first 15 and impose our game, their there for the taking.

I agree, who knows what will happen tomorrow, so its lucky for us that our game is on Sunday.

Considering we were down to 10 men 5 mins into the game I find it hard to believe we could play a formation needing 10 outfield players and a keeper.

Richards is available for selection but not sure how fit he is.

Richards Kompany Lescott Zabs.

If Richards isn't fit, I'd expect what Massa said, which is what I posted after the Chelsea game.

The only problem is not Fimpong's ability but his petulance sometimes to get himself sent off and against City its difficult with eleven on the pitch , imagine with ten ?

Shame we depleated here. Otherwise he would have surely been loaned out like Song was.

Better hope for you that richards is fit, otherwise Gervinho and theo will look your defense like scrambled eggs :frogwink:

I wouldn't say he's been woeful, sure he's made mistakes but all young players make mistakes.

I think the reason so many of us like Frimpong is because he has a great attitude and desire to play for Arsenal, unlike some players who are currently on the books at this club.
