Don't usually play war games but I like the time period it's set in so I'll have to get amongst it.

RDR is a top 3 game of all time. This has to be the most anticipated sequel ever.

Come to think of it I played a bit of the first one on PSP back in the day.

I guess I just think of Red Dead Redemption as its own series because it's one of the great games and as you said no one really played/remembers Revolver.

Fits in with my experience.

RDR was an actual masterpiece. It's the only game I've ever actually tried to do all of the trophies for.

Was gutted when I found out you couldn't get it on ps4

Rockstar are treating it like a direct sequel to Redemption - except it will be a prequel to that story.
