Just finished my first go at the Weekend League; 18 wins in 31 games so I finished on the Gold 3 level. So much stress but happy with the rewards I'll be getting.

I used an all-Spain squad although my strongest team was probably this;

Isco was an absolute beast for me - 12 goals and 7 assists in 18 games.

Weekend league pft. Can't even qualify ffs.i think it was before I discovered finesse dribbling but still, some teams I was coming up against were literally full of totw players and proper high enders.

Same here. Bought the game late, plus can't dedicate as much time to grinding coins as I used to, so progress is slow for mine.

Been getting some decent results since remembering the focused dribbling ie L2

Have been robbed hard by the game during WL qualifiers though, one time I literally had 6 shots on target, hitting the post 3 times and 3 random blocks.

Other end, put in 3 good challenges and it bounces to the oppositions feet every frikkin time.

Penalties are cack. only good thing is that everyone else is shite at them too. Had a fair few missed against me. Also had some slip under the keepers hands when I've dived low and picked the right way.
